Team 7-2 Policies & Expectations

Homework: Homework is designed to reinforce what was learned in class. All homework is to be done with 100% effort and done on time.

Late Work: Daily homework assignments will receive one letter grade lower if they are turned in one day late. Any time after that, homework will not be accepted for any credit. Long term projects will be decided by the individual teacher.

Make-Up Work: Two days are given to make up any assignments that are missed for every one day that a student is absent. Long term projects will be dealt with on an individual basis.

Extra Credit: Extra credit will be given at the teacher’s discretion but it is not designed to take the place of regular school work.

Paper Headings: Full name please (first and last)

Tardy: Students are to be in their seats and ready when class is scheduled to begin.

Leaving Class: Only one student is permitted to leave class at a time, and you must have a signed hall pass.

Planner Use: Students must have their planner with them at all times. Students are to put their name and team number on the front cover of their planner so that it can be returned to them if it is lost. It is the student’s responsibility to write all assignments in the planner and see that they are completed.

Book Covers: Math and Social Studies books need to be covered at all times during the year.

Cheating: Cheating will result in a zero on the assignment and a parent contact.

Food and Drink in Class: Not permitted at anytime. Exceptions will be made for medical reasons with a doctor’s note.

Locker Visitation Times: “The Four Befores.” Before advisory, before 3rd bell, before encore and before you go home.

Grading Scale:

A > 92.5%
B > 84.5%
C > 75.5%
D > 69.5%
F = Below 69.5%
