"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing."- Albert Einstein
In science you will be focusing on developing your skills to design, test, and discuss scientific investigations on a wide variety of topics: biodiversity, ecosystems, energy, water resources, weather patterns, and technology. You will also be learning how other subjects connect with your study of science.
Classroom expectations are the same as Team 7-3 policies and Nagel Student Code of Conduct. The two things that are different is gum chewing and safety equipment:
- Gum chewing is allowed in the science lab unless Mr. Preston decides otherwise. Reasons for no gum chewing could be from the result of a lab or activity.
- Safety shower and eye wash should be used only for emergency purposes. Safety procedures for labs and activities should be followed by students. Failure to do so could result in a discipline referral.
